Our Education Approach

The Reggio Emilia approach is an educational philosophy and approach to early childhood education that originated in the town of Reggio Emilia, Italy. Kindy Program

Our Kindy Program is designed to help children cultivate friendships, acquire life skills, and foster a passion for learning. To ensure a consistently high-quality program across the nation, the government has established the Early Years Learning Framework.

This framework prioritises play-based learning, communication and language development (including early literacy and numeracy), emotional and social growth, and a smooth transition into formal schooling.

At My World Childcare Centres, we adhere to the same government framework used in schools. Additionally, each of our centres is staffed with qualified Early Childhood Teachers, providing the same level of expertise found in educational institutions.

Benefits of a Daycare Based Kindy Program

Days:

Unlike traditional kindergartens that operate on a part-time basis, My World centres are open Monday to Friday, including school holidays. This means that you can rely on us to provide consistent care for your child throughout the week.

Hours:

For parents who require extended childcare hours, My World centres are the perfect solution. We are open from 6:30 am to 6:00pm every weekday, giving you the flexibility to utilise the hours that suit your schedule. Our Kindy programs are registered for Childcare Benefit and the Childcare Rebate, and our knowledgeable managers are trained to assist you in accessing the benefits you are entitled to.

Siblings:

If you have multiple children in need of childcare, choosing My World ensures that they can all attend the same facility. This saves you the hassle of juggling multiple care arrangements and allows your children to stay connected with each other in a familiar environment.

Transitions:

By selecting a My World centre, your child can start their journey with us from birth and seamlessly progress through our pre-school kindergarten program. This eliminates the need for them to transition to a new and unfamiliar setting, providing them with continuity and stability during their early years.

Meals:

Say goodbye to packing lunches! At My World centres, we provide all the meals your child needs while they are in our care. Our meals are specially designed by a qualified nutritionist to meet your child's nutritional requirements. OSHC:

My World Childcare understands the importance of Before and After School Hours programs and the numerous benefits they bring to youth, families, and communities. These programs have been proven to enhance academic performance, reduce risky behaviours, promote physical health, and provide a safe and structured environment for children.

One of the key features of our After School Hours programs is the academic support, that we offer through our homework help service. Completing homework tasks while at our out-of-school hours care (OSHC) can make evenings more enjoyable and relaxing for both children and parents. Research also shows that being part of a before and after school program can lead to improved grades and fewer behavioural issues.

At My World, we focus on creating a sense of belonging for children by giving them the opportunity to connect with familiar peers in a different environment. Our OSHC programs promote cooperation, support, and respect among participants.
